Passionate About Both Urgent Care and Diagnostic Imaging- Chris Nugent, MBA, CRA, RT(R)(CT)
Chris Nugent “grew up” in the hospital setting, holding positions in radiology both clinically, as well as administratively, prior to transitioning to urgent care in 2022. As a radiology administrator in the urgent care setting, Chris quickly developed a passion for the industry and an appreciation for the place that it holds in our healthcare ecosystem. Since beginning his journey in urgent care, Chris has gained a deep understanding of urgent care radiology workflows, nuances, and challenges. From a regulatory perspective, not only does he possess an abundance of knowledge pertaining to individual state X-ray regulations, but has also been an advocate for legislation allowing for limited X-ray operators in several states. Over the past few years, many urgent care operators have leaned on Chris to provide insight on imaging operations and regulations. Based on this solid foundation, and a passion for both urgent care and diagnostic imaging, UC Rad Insights was born.
